OUR WORK

Sambrano Legal Services provides legal representation in matters dealing with Human Rights and Employment Law, Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant, and Criminal Injuries Compensation. We also conduct Workplace Investigations and Workplace Legal Education seminars and workshops.

Human Rights Law

Have you encountered harassment or discrimination based on disability, gender, colour, or any of the 17 grounds prohibited by the Human Rights Code of Ontario?

At Sambrano Legal Services we will give your concerns the Courtesy, Dignity and Respect your matter deserves.  We will guide you through the often complex process of enforcing your rights under the Human Rights Code, and do our best to get you the money you deserve.

Employment Law

We enforce your employment rights. Sambrano Legal Services provides representation to both employers and employees in all areas of employment law.

Whether representing the employer or the employee, our goal remains the same—to educate, advocate and resolve employment issues in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Small Claims

.

Small Claims Court has simplified rules and procedures, and a monetary limit  of $35,000.00.  We support plaintiffs or defendants in Small Claims Court matters.

If you feel you have a claim which is best resolved at the Small Claims Court, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your matter.

Landlord & Tenant

Sambrano Legal Services provides representation to Landlords and Tenants. Common issues include late payment of rent, eviction, maintenance issues and interference with reasonable enjoyment.

We aid in the filing and serving of applications as well as representation at the Landlord and Tenant Board.

If you have a landlord/tenant issue which needs to be resolved, contact Sambrano Legal Services today.

Non-Legal Services

Workplace Investigation + Legal Education

Prevention is better than cure. It’s an old saying but it’s never been more relevant than in today’s employment world.

I discuss with businesses how to comply with their employment standards and human rights obligations in order to avoid costly litigation.
